MotoGP rider news for 2023

It was confirmed on last Thursday (8/9/22), VR46 Racing Team retain Marco Bezzecchi for 2023 MotoGP season, while on Monday (12/9/22) the team will retain Luca Marini for 2023 MotoGP season as-well.

Marini currently sits twelfth place in the MotoGP standings, with a best finish of two fourth place finishes in the least two rounds.

While Bezzecchi currently sits fourteenth place in the MotoGP standings, with a best finish of second place at Assen.

Meanwhile, it was confirmed on Tuesday (13/9/22), Takaaki Nakagami has signed a new one-year deal with that will see him continue to compete with the LCR Honda team in MotoGP for 2023 alongside Álex Rins.

Nakagami currently sits sixteenth place in the championship, with a best finish of two seventh place finishes.

Finally, it was confirmed on Friday (16/9/22), Moto2 rider Augusto Fernández will graduate to MotoGP next year with GasGas Factory Racing (Tech3), riding a KTM RC16 alongside Pol Espargaró.

Fernández currently leads Moto2 standings, with a best finish of four race wins.
