Pérez replaced Alexander Albon this season, who was struggling as Verstappen's team-mate last season, Pérez currently sits fifth place in the Drivers' standings, best finish of a Grand Prix win at Baku back in June.
Overall, a very good decision from Red Bull to keep Sergio Pérez for next season. Pérez done the job what he needed to do at Red Bull, been much faster than Albon when he had the drive last season. Which makes Red Bull Racing line-up a very strong one going into 2022.
