Review of Round Four of the 2021 British Touring Car Championship season was at Oulton Park's Island Circuit, in Cheshire.
In the first race, Halfords Racing with Cataclean driver Daniel Rowbottom took the race win in his Honda Civic Type R and also took Independents class win as-well the Jack Sears Trophy win (for drivers yet to record an overall podium finish or won outright the Jack Sears Trophy championship). Second was Halfords Racing with Cataclean driver Gordon Shedden in his Honda Civic Type R, he was four tenths of a second behind Rowbottom in the end. While third place was Ciceley Motorsport driver Adam Morgan in his BMW 330i M Sport he was two seconds behind behind Rowbottom in the end.
Meanwhile in the second race, Toyota Gazoo Racing UK driver Rory Butcher took the race win in his Toyota Corolla GR Sport. Second was Halfords Racing with Cataclean driver Daniel Rowbottom in his Honda Civic Type R and also took Independents class win as-well the Jack Sears Trophy win, he was sixteen tenths of a second behind Butcher in the end. While third place was Ciceley Motorsport driver Adam Morgan in his BMW 330i M Sport he was two and half seconds behind behind Butcher in the end.
Finally in the third race, BTC Racing driver Senna Proctor took the race win in his Honda Civic Type R and also took Independents class win. Second was Team BMW driver Stephen Jelley in his BMW 330i M Sport, he was two seconds behind Proctor in the end. While third place was Halfords Racing with Cataclean driver Gordon Shedden in his Honda Civic Type R, he was four seconds behind behind Proctor in the end.
While, Jack Sears Trophy was won by Halfords Racing with Cataclean driver Daniel Rowbottom in his Honda Civic Type R, he finished in sixth place and was nine seconds behind Proctor in the end.
Next stop Knockhill Racing Circuit for Round Five of the 2020 British Touring Car Championship season in two weeks time.
