Recap of the last round of WRC from this weekends Round Seven of Rally de Portugal.
This weekend was the seventh round of the World Rally Championship at the Rally de Portugal (30th May – 2nd June) that was won by Ott Tänak in his works Toyota Yaris WRC.
While, Thierry Neuville finished second in the works Hyundai i20 Coupe WRC. Neuville was sixteen seconds behind Tänak at the end of the rally. Meanwhile, Current WRC champion Sébastien Ogier finished third in the works Citroën C3 WRC. Ogier was a minute behind Tänak at the end of the rally.
Meanwhile in WRC-2 Pro class (Manufacturer entries competing in cars built to Group R5 specifications), that was won by Škoda Motorsport driver Kalle Rovanperä in his Škoda Fabia R5. Kalle Rovanperä finished in sixth place overall, he was ten minutes behind Tänak at the end of the rally.
While in WRC-2 class (Open to privately-entered cars; Group R5, R4, Super 2000 and Group N4 spec cars), that was won by Pierre-Louis Loubet in his own backed Škoda Fabia R5. Pierre-Louis Loubet finished in ninth place overall, he was thirteen minutes behind Tänak at the end of the rally.
