Whelen Engineering Racing team won the race overall and Prototype class too of Eric Curran and Felipe Nasr in their Cadillac DPi-V.R, Cadillac 5.5 L V8. While,
Acura Team Penske finished in second place in their Acura ARX-05, Acura AR35TT 3.5 L Turbo V6; the team of in their Hélio Castroneves and Ricky Taylor; they were a second behind the leaders. Meanwhile, Acura Team Penske finished in third place in their Acura ARX-05, Acura AR35TT 3.5 L Turbo V6; the team of Dane Cameron and Juan Pablo Montoya; they were thirteen seconds behind the leaders.
In GT Daytona Class, Meyer Shank Racing with Curb-Agajanian won GT Daytona Class and finished in thirteenth place overall in their Acura NSX GT3; with the drivers of Mario Farnbacher and Katherine Legge; they were three laps behind the leaders.
While GT Le Mans class did not participate for this race.
