Overall the race itself was a good race to watch despite limited overtaking in the race. It was the race where Sebastian Vettel controlled the race from the start of the Grand Prix to the end, on pole for Sunday's race, lead the race throughout to conclude with a race win in this seasons Canadian Grand Prix for Sebastian Vettel's third race win of the season.
While, Valtteri Bottas finished in second place in the Mercedes, Bottas was seven seconds behind Vettel at the end.
Meanwhile, Max Verstappen finished in third place in the Red Bull to complete the podium, Verstappen was eight seconds behind Vettel at the end of the sixty-eight lap race.
