2017 WRC Round 13 recap - Rally Australia

Recap of the last round of WRC from last weekends Round thirteen of Rally Australia.

Last weekend was the thirteenth and final round of the 2017 World Rally Championship at Rally Australia (17th-20th November) was won by Thierry Neuville in the works Hyundai i20 Coupe WRC.



While, M-Sport World Rally Team driver Ott Tänak finished second in his Ford Fiesta WRC, Tänak was twenty-two seconds behind Neuville at the end of the rally. Meanwhile, Hayden Paddon finished third in the works Hyundai i20 Coupe WRC, Paddon was a minute behind Neuville at the end of the rally.

While in the WRC Trophy (crews entering World Rally Cars used between 2011 and 2016), that was won by Jourdan Serderidis in his own backed Citroën DS3 WRC. Jourdan Serderidis finished in eleventh place overall, he was thirty-two minutes behind Neuville at the end of the rally.

Meanwhile in WRC-2 class (Group R5, R4, Super 2000 and Group N4 spec cars), that was won by Kalle Rovanperä in his own backed Ford Fiesta R5. Kalle Rovanperä finished in twelfth place overall, he was thirty-three minutes behind Neuville at the end of the rally.

WRC-2 Champions: Pontus Tidemand and Jonas Andersson, WRC-2 for Teams Champions: Škoda Motorsport, WRC-3 Champions: Nil Solans and Miquel Ibáñez, WRC-3 for Teams Champions: ADAC Sachsen. And J-WRC Champions: Nil Solans and Miquel Ibáñez.
