The Formula Renault 3.5 driver will partner Kamui Kobayashi at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix after former Caterham driver Marcus Ericsson terminated his contract with the team last week.
Caterham F1 Team missed the last two races in the United States and Brazil, but will make its return at the Yas Marina Circuit via a crowdfunding scheme.
Stevens, was previously a member of the Caterham Racing Academy, and has twice tested Formula 1 machinery with the team.
The multiple Formula Renault 3.5 race winner signed for Caterham last week, but had to wait for his Super Licence to be processed.
A great opportunity for Will Stevens for this weekend.
