Toro Rosso has confirmed yesterday (28/11/14) that Formula Renault 3.5 Series champion Carlos Sainz Jr. will make his Formula 1 debut alongside Max Verstappen at the team next year replacing Jean-Éric Vergne in an all-rookie line-up at the team next season.
Carlos Sainz Jr. who is currently a Red Bull junior driver, he has won this seasons Formula Renault 3.5 series champion. Also, who is the son of two times World Rally champion Carlos Sainz.
In my opinion, it's going to be an interesting choice if Carlos Sainz Jr. will be the right choice for Toro Rosso. Did a very good job with DAMS this season in this seasons Formula Renault 3.5 series championship and winning the series ahead of the other Red Bull junior driver Pierre Gasly.
I do believe that Carlos Sainz Jr. will need time with the team as his a rookie, and that's the same for the other Toro Rosso rookie Max Verstappen as it will be an all-rookie line-up at Toro Rosso next season and the pressure should be off for both rookie drivers at the team for that reason.
Anyway, good luck Carlos Sainz Jr. for next season.
End of blog for now. New post soon. Bye.
