Review of Round Eight of the 2014 British Touring Car Championship season was on the International Super Sports Car Circuit at Rockingham Motor Speedway, in Northamptonshire.
In the first race, eBay Motors driver Colin Turkington took the race win in his BMW 125i M Sport and also took Independents class too. Second was MG KX Clubcard Fuel Save driver Sam Tordoff in his MG6 GT, he was three seconds behind Turkington in the end. Meanwhile, third was MG KX Clubcard Fuel Save driver Jason Plato in his MG6 GT, he was eight seconds behind Turkington in the end.
Meanwhile in the second race, once again eBay Motors driver Colin Turkington took the race win in his BMW 125i M Sport and also took Independents class too. Second was MG KX Clubcard Fuel Save driver Jason Plato in his MG6 GT, he was eight seconds behind Turkington in the end. While in the third race, Exocet Racing driver Rob Austin took the race win in his Audi A4 and also took Independents class too. Second was CHROME Edition Restart Racing driver Alain Menu in his Volkswagen CC, he was three seconds behind Austin in the end. While third place was Pirtek Racing driver and 2013 BTCC Champion Andrew Jordan in his Honda Civic, he was over six seconds behind Austin in the end.
Next stop Silverstone for Round Nine of the 2014 British Touring Car Championship season in three weeks time.
