2022 Emilia Romagna Grand Prix - Saturday's Sprint Race Review

Review of the fourth round of the 2021 F1 season at the Autodromo Internazionale Enzo e Dino Ferrari, Imola, for Saturday's Sprint Race at the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix.

Overall the race itself was enjoyable race to watch. Current Formula 1 Champion Max Verstappen on pole for Saturday's race. At the start of the Sprint Race, Charles Leclerc took the lead ahead of first corner from Verstappen, was set to win the sprint race until lap 19. When Leclerc tyre's started to where off giving Verstappen an opportunity, was able to pass Leclerc into turn one to conclude with a win in the sprint race and maintain pole position for tomorrows race and giving Max Verstappen eight points.



While, Charles Leclerc finished in second place in the Ferrari, Leclerc was three seconds behind Verstappen at the end.

Meanwhile, Sergio Pérez finished in third place in the other Red Bull to complete the podium, Pérez was five seconds behind Verstappen at the end of the twenty-one lap race.
