Peugeot 9X8

This week (6/7/21), Peugeot launch their new Le Mans Hypercar race car the Peugeot 9X8 for next seasons World Endurance Championship and 24 Hours of Le Mans. And according to Peugeot it will have a total power output of 940 bhp.

Peugeot unveiled its 2022 new LMH race car on Tuesday which include no rear wing focusing on a longer diffuser underneath the 9X8, Peugeot will use an all new 2.6-litre twin-turbo V6 engine that produce 670 bhp. Also, Peugeot will use a single front-axle hybrid system, which can produce up to 268 bhp, meaning the new Peugeot 9X8 is a 940 bhp Four-wheel-drive monster race car.

A new challenge ahead for Peugeot in 2022.
