Review of the ninth round of the 2021 F1 season at the Red Bull Ring, on the outskirts of Spielberg, Styria, for the Austrian Grand Prix.
Just like last weekend, it was a dominating race weekend from Max Verstappen. Verstappen was on pole for Sunday's race. In the hot and dry Austrian Grand Prix. Verstappen took the advantage at the start and comfortably lead the race throughout, leading all the seventy-one laps and the fastest lap to complete the gland slam (pole, all laps lead, fastest lap and win) to win this seasons Austrian Grand Prix for Max Verstappen's fifth race win of the season.
While, Valtteri Bottas finished in second place in the Mercedes, Bottas was eighteen seconds behind Verstappen at the end.
Meanwhile, Lando Norris finished in third place in the McLaren to complete the podium, Norris was twenty-one seconds behind Verstappen at the end of the seventy-one lap race.
