Overall, the race itself was a good race to watch. Lance Stroll took a surprise pole for Sunday's race. On a wet and cold Turkish Grand Prix Stroll took the lead at the start of the race ahead of team-mate Sergio Pérez. Until lap 35 when Stroll pitted for a second set of intermediate tyres while Pérez stayed on his intermediate tyres till the end. Out of nowhere Lewis Hamilton who was nowhere all weekend took the lead on the back straight on lap 36, like Pérez, Hamilton stayed on his intermediate tyres till the end and stayed there to win this seasons Turkish Grand Prix Review for Lewis Hamilton's tenth Grand Prix win of the season.
And enough for Lewis Hamilton to win his seventh F1 World Drivers Championship title and one hundred and ten points ahead of Valtteri Bottas with three races to go. He also become the second driver in Formula 1 history to join Michael Schumacher to win seven or more drivers' titles. So contractions to Lewis Hamilton for winning his seventh World Drivers' title.
Meanwhile, Sergio Pérez finished in second place in the Racing Point, Pérez was thirty-one seconds behind Hamilton at the end.
Meanwhile, Sebastian Vettel finished in third place in the Ferrari to complete the podium, Vettel was thirty-two seconds behind Hamilton at the end of the fifty-eight lap race.
