2020 DTM Round 9 Recap, René Rast 2020 DTM Champion!

Review of Round Nine and the final round of the 2020 Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters season was held at was held at the Hockenheimring, Hockenheim, in South-West Germany.

On Saturday's race, Audi Sport Team Abt Sportsline driver Nico Müller took the race win in his Audi RS5 Turbo DTM. Second was Audi Sport Team Rosberg driver and current DTM Champion René Rast in his Audi RS5 Turbo DTM, he was six tenths of a second behind Müller in the end. While, third place was Team Rosberg driver Jamie Green in his Audi RS5 Turbo DTM to complete an Audi podium whitewash, he was a second behind Müller in the end.



On Sunday's race, Audi Sport Team Rosberg driver and current DTM Champion René Rast took the race win in his Audi RS5 Turbo DTM, and enough for René Rast to be 2020 DTM Drivers' champion for his third title win to beat Nico Müller by twenty-three points in the last round of the year.



Second was Audi Sport Team Abt Sportsline driver Nico Müller in his Audi RS5 Turbo DTM, he was ten seconds behind Rast in the end. While, third place was Team Rosberg driver Jamie Green in his Audi RS5 Turbo DTM to complete another Audi podium whitewash, he was thirteen seconds behind Rast in the end.



And so, this years champions, René Rast took the DTM Drivers' Championship. Audi Sport Team Abt Sportsline took the DTM Teams' Championship and Audi took the DTM Manufacturers' Championship.

That's the end of 2020 Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters season. Contracts to the Champions in DTM this season. And now for the 2021 Season.
