Confirmed: McLaren F1 Team retains both Lando Norris and Carlos Sainz Jr. till 2020

It was confirmed Yesterday (9/7/19), that McLaren F1 team will retain both Lando Norris and Carlos Sainz Jr. through to the end of the 2020 Formula 1 season, on each an one-year deal.





Sainz Jr currently sits seventh place in the Drivers' standings, best finish of two sixth place finishes so far this season. While Norris sits eighth place in the Drivers' standings, best finish of two sixth place finishes so far in his debut F1 season.

Overall, a very good decision from McLaren to keep both Lando Norris and Carlos Sainz Jr. for next season.
