2019 Germany MotoGP Review, Danilo Petrucci remains at Ducati for 2020

Review of the round nine of the 2019 MotoGP season at Sachsenring, in Eastern Germany.

In the MotoGP race (V-twin, V4, or Inline-four 1000cc four stroke class), that was won by Repsol Honda Team rider and current MotoGP champion Marc Marquez on his works Honda RC213V.



Second place was Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP rider Maverick Viñales on his works Yamaha YZR-M1, he was four and half seconds behind Márquez at the end.



While, third was LCR Honda Castrol rider Cal Crutchlow on his Honda RC213V, he was eight seconds behind Márquez at the end.



In the Moto2 race (Inline-three 765cc four-stroke class), that race was won by EG 0,0 Marc VDS rider Álex Márquez on the Kalex. Second was Red Bull KTM Ajo rider Brad Binder on the KTM, he was twelve tenths of a second behind Márquez at the end. While, third was Dynavolt Intact GP rider Marcel Schrötter on the Kalex, he was sixteen tenths of a second behind Márquez at the end.

While in the Moto3 race (single-cylinder 250 cc four-stroke class), that race was won by Leopard Racing rider Lorenzo Dalla Porta on the Honda. Second was Leopard Racing rider Marcos Ramírez on the Honda, he was seven hundredths of a second behind Dalla Porta at the end. While, third was Sterilgarda Max Racing Team rider Arón Canet on the KTM, he was twelve hundredths of a second behind Dalla Porta at the end.

Finally in the MotoE race (a single make class with all the riders riding the Energica Ego MotoE bike; new for 2019), that was won by Ajo MotoE rider Niki Tuuli. Second was One Energy Racing rider Bradley Smith, he was four tenths of a second behind Tuuli at the end. While, third was EG 0,0 Marc VDS rider Mike Di Meglio, he was six tenths of a second behind Tuuli at the end of the race

Finally, it was also confirmed on Friday (5/7.19), Danilo Petrucci has signed a new one-year deal with that will see him continue to compete with the Ducati team in MotoGP for 2020 season alongside Andrea Dovizioso.



Petrucci currently sits third place in the championship, with a best finish of a race win at Mugello a month ago.
