2019 WTCR Round 2 Recap - Race of Hungary

Review of Round Two of the 2019 World Touring Car Cup season was the Race of Hungary, at Hungaroring, on the outskirts of Budapest.

In the first race, ALL-INKL.COM Münnich Motorsport driver Néstor Girolami took the race win in his Honda Civic Type R TCR (FK8). Second was Cyan Racing Lynk & Co driver Yvan Muller in his Lynk & Co 03 TCR, he was five tenths of a second behind Girolami in the end. While third place was ALL-INKL.COM Münnich Motorsport driver Esteban Guerrieri in his Honda Civic Type R TCR (FK8), he was nine tenths of a second behind Girolami in the end.



Meanwhile in the second race, ALL-INKL.COM Münnich Motorsport driver Néstor Girolami took the race win in his Honda Civic Type R TCR (FK8). Second was Audi Sport Team Leopard Racing driver Jean-Karl Vernay in his Audi RS 3 LMS TCR, he was two and half seconds behind Girolami in the end. While third place was PWR Racing driver Daniel Haglöf in his CUPRA León TCR, he was three and half seconds behind Girolami in the end.



Finally in the third race, BRC Hyundai N Squadra Corse driver and Current WTCR Champion Gabriele Tarquini took the race win in his Hyundai i30 N TCR. Second was BRC Hyundai N Squadra Corse driver Norbert Michelisz in his Hyundai i30 N TCR, he was seven tenths of a second behind Tarquini in the end. While third place was Cyan Performance Lynk & Co driver Yann Ehrlacher in his Lynk & Co 03 TCR, he was fifteen tenths of a second behind Tarquini in the end.



Next stop Race of Slovakia at the Automotodróm Slovakia Ring for Round Three of the 2019 World Touring Car Cup season in two weeks time.
