2019 WRC Round 4 recap - Tour de Corse - Rallye de France

Recap of the last round of WRC from last weekends Round four of Tour de Corse - Rallye de France.

Last weekends was the fourth round of the World Rally Championship at the Tour de Corse - Rallye de France (28th – 31st March) that was won by Thierry Neuville in his works Hyundai i20 Coupe WRC.



While, Current WRC champion Sébastien Ogier finished second in the works Citroën C3 WRC. Ogier was forty seconds behind Neuville at the end of the rally. Meanwhile, Elfyn Evans finished third in his works works Ford Fiesta WRC, Evans was sixty-six seconds behind Neuville at the end of the rally.

Meanwhile in WRC-2 Pro class (Manufacturer entries competing in cars built to Group R5 specifications), that was won by M-Sport Ford WRT driver Łukasz Pieniążek in his Ford Fiesta R5. Łukasz Pieniążek finished in twenty-fifth place overall, he was twenty-nine minutes behind Neuville at the end of the rally.

While in WRC-2 class (Open to privately-entered cars; Group R5, R4, Super 2000 and Group N4 spec cars), that was won by Fabio Andolfi in his own backed Škoda Fabia R5. Fabio Andolfi finished in eleventh place overall, he was eleven minutes behind Neuville at the end of the rally.

Meanwhile in Junior-WRC class (Competing in identical one-litre Ford Fiesta R2s built and maintained by M-Sport) that was won by Julius Tannert. Julius Tannert finished in twentieth place overall, he was twenty-nine minutes behind Neuville at the end of the rally.
