Round Eight Recap of the 2017 WeatherTech SportsCar Championship

Review of Round Eight of the 2017 WeatherTech SportsCar Championship at Lime Rock Park, on the outskirts of Salisbury, Connecticut.

Porsche GT Team won the race overall and GT Le Mans Class too in their Porsche 911 RSR, with the team of Patrick Pilet and Dirk Werner. While the other Porsche GT Team finished second place in their Porsche 911 RSR to complete a Porsche one-two finish, with the team of Laurens Vanthoor and Gianmaria Bruni; they were fourteen seconds behind the leaders. Meanwhile, BMW Team RLL finished third place in their BMW M6 GTLM, with the team of John Edwards and Martin Tomczyk; they were fourty seconds behind the leaders.

In GT Daytona Class, Park Place Motorsports team won GT Daytona Class and finished in eighth place overall in their Porsche 911 GT3 R; with the drivers of Jörg Bergmeister and Patrick Lindsey; they were six laps behind the leaders.

While Prototype Class and Prototype Challenge Class did not participate for this race.
