Review of Round Eight of the 2014-15 Formula E season held at a temporary circuit at Tempelhof airport, Berlin. A special anti-clockwise track was built for the race next to the terminal building of the closed airport.
The race was won by Audi Sport ABT driver Lucas di Grassi for his second race win of the year. Until, Lucas di Grassi was later disqualified of his victory over technical breaches, it was discovered that the front wing fairings had been modified to include internal metal reinforcing rods, while six of the eight holes in the front wing were sealed.
So therefore, Dragon Racing driver Jérôme d'Ambrosio was promoted to take the win. Second was e.dams Renault driver Sébastien Buemi, he was over two seconds behind d'Ambrosio. Meanwhile, third was Dragon Racing driver Loïc Duval, he was over three seconds behind d'Ambrosio in the end.
