2015 France MotoGP Review

Review of the round five of the 2015 MotoGP season at Le Mans Bugatti track in Le Mans, in central France.

In the MotoGP race (V-twin, V4, or Inline-four 1000cc four stroke class), that was won by Movistar Yamaha MotoGP rider Valentino Rossi Jorge Lorenzo on his works Yamaha YZR-M1. Second was Movistar Yamaha MotoGP rider Valentino Rossi on his works Yamaha YZR-M1 for a Yamaha one-two finish, he was 4 seconds behind Lorenzo at the end. While, third was Ducati Team rider Andrea Dovizioso on his works Ducati Desmosedici GP15, he was 12 seconds behind Lorenzo at the end of the race.

In Open class (Full control ECU system, hardware and software), Aspar MotoGP Team rider Nicky Hayden won Open class and finished eleventh place overall on his Honda RC213V-RS, he was 53 seconds behind Lorenzo at the end of the race.

In the Moto2 race (Inline-four 600 cc four-stroke class), that race was won by Derendinger Racing Interwetten rider Thomas Lüthi on the Kalex. Second was Estrella Galicia Marc VDS rider and current Moto2 champion Esteve Rabat on the Kalex, he was under 2 second behind Lüthi at the end. While, third was Ajo Motorsport rider Johann Zarco on the Kalex, he was under 4 seconds behind Lüthi at the end of the race.

While in the Moto3 race (single-cylinder 250 cc four-stroke class), that race was won by Sky Racing Team VR46 rider Romano Fenati on the KTM. Second was Gresini Racing Team Moto3 rider Enea Bastianini on the Honda, he was a tenth of a second behind Fenati at the end. While, third was Mapfre Team Mahindra rider Francesco Bagnaia on the Mahindra, he was 5 tenths of a second behind Fenati at the end of the race.
