2015 TCR Round 3 Recap

Review of Round Three of the 2015 TCR International Series season was at SCircuit Ricardo Tormo, on the outskirts of Valencia, Spain.

In the first race, Team Craft-Bamboo Lukoil driver Pepe Oriola took the race win in his SEAT León Cup Racer. Second was Team Craft-Bamboo Lukoil driver Sergey Afanasyev in his SEAT León Cup Racer, he was four seconds behind Oriola in the end. While third place was Team Craft-Bamboo Lukoil driver Jordi Gené in his SEAT León Cup Racer to concluded a SEAT podium whitewash finish, he was five seconds behind Oriola in the end.

While in the second race, Target Competition driver Stefano Comini took the race win in his SEAT León Cup Racer. Second was Target Competition driver Michel Nykjær in his SEAT León Cup Racer, he was seven seconds behind Comini in the end.

While third place was Target Competition driver Andrea Belicchi in his SEAT León Cup Racer to concluded another SEAT podium whitewash finish, he was nine seconds behind Comini in the end. But was later was excluded from Race 2 after not stopping for the drive through penalty received for overtaking under Safety Car. So therefore, WestCoast Racing driver Gianni Morbidelli finished third in his Honda Civic TCR, he was seventeen seconds behind Comini in the end.



Next stop Autódromo Internacional do Algarve, Portimão, Portugal for Round Four of the 2015 TCR International Series season in a weeks time.
