Confirmed: Roberto Merhi to race for Manor F1 Team in Australian Grand Prix

It's been confirmed this morning down in Australia (10/3/15) that Roberto Merhi will race for the Manor F1 Team in this weekend's season-opening Australian Grand Prix, alongside with Will Stevens.



The former Formula 3 Euro Series, Champion, who got his first taste of F1 running as a Friday practice driver for Caterham late last season, and has signed a one-off deal with the team to race in Melbourne, as Merhi previous raced with the Manor squad in the F3 Euro Series back in 2009.



Roberto Merhi is currently schedule to race for the Pons team in Formula Renault 3.5 Series this season, but that might change if he has a good Grand Prix weekend in Melbourne.



Meanwhile, Manor also announced this morning that current GP2 driver Jordan King, son of Manor investor and interim Chairman Justin King, has become the team's development driver for this season.



Now with both drivers are now confirmed at Manor for the start of the F1 season. All 20 drivers are ready for start the grid in Melbourne this Sunday morning.
