Aspar confirms Eugene Laverty for 2015

Eugene Laverty has been officially confirmed today (2/10/14), that he will be ridding for the Aspar team for the 2015 MotoGP season.

The Suzuki World Superbike rider, who will race Honda's Open class bike next season along side 2006 MotoGP champion Nicky Hayden at Aspar.

Laverty twice finished as runner-up in the Supersport World Championship (2009 and 2010), before making the switch to the Superbike World Championship in 2011 with Yamaha, where he also took the runner-up spot last season with Aprillia.

Laverty previously raced in the 250cc Grand Prix class, departing halfway through his second term in 2008.

This has been rumoured since for over a month now that Laverty will join Drive M7 Aspar for next season. Good luck to Eugene Laverty riding at Drive M7 Aspar next season.
