Strakka Dome LMP2 withdraws from this years 24 Hours of Le Mans

The new Strakka Dome LMP2 coupe has been withdrawn from this years 24 Hours of Le Mans for next month after a serious accident during testing at Spa last week.



Team regular Danny Watts crashed the Strakka Dome S103 heavily late last Tuesday (20/5/14), the first of three days of running at the Grand Prix track planned by the team, as the team is unable to repair the car and acquire sufficient spares in time for Le Mans race.

The Strakka Dome was absent from the first two rounds of the World Endurance Championship at Silverstone and Spa after encountering undisclosed problems in pre-season testing.

No word yet when the Strakka Dome S103 will debut, it would be now more than likely in mid-September at Austin for the 6 Hours of Circuit of the Americas race.
