2022 Belgian Grand Prix Review

Review of the fourteenth round of the 2022 F1 season at Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps in Spa, east of Belgium, for the Belgian Grand Prix.

Overall the race itself was a good race to watch. Just like im Hungary, it was the race where Current Formula 1 World Champion Max Verstappen won the race outside the top 10, despite being fastest in qualifying, he was forced to start forteenth after a fresh power-unit and gearbox change giving Carlos Sainz Jr. the pole postionn.

In dry and sunny Belgian Grand Prix, Carlos Sainz Jr kept first place into turn one, from Sergio Pérez and Fernando Alonso. By lap 17, from fourteenth place Max Verstappen overtook Sainz Jr. for the lead on the back straight and stayed there till the end to win this seasons Belgian Grand Prix for Max Verstappen's ninth Grand Prix win of the season.

Meanwhile, Sergio Pérez finished in second place in the Red Bull to give the team its fourth one-two finish of the season, Pérez was eighteen seconds behind Verstappen at the end.
