Overall the race itself was enjoyable race to watch. Current Formula 1 World Champion Sir Lewis Hamilton on pole for Saturday's race, until a few hours before as Hamilton was excluded from Qualifying because his DRS was found not to be in conformity with the rules resulting Hamilton to start last in the sprint race. Giving Max Verstappen the pole for Saturday's sprint race.
At the start of the Sprint Race, Valtteri Bottas took the lead ahead of first corner from Verstappen and didn't look back, comfortably lead the race throughout, leading all the twenty-four laps to win the Sprint Race to give Valtteri Bottas the pole for tomorrows race and three points.
While, Max Verstappen finished in second place in the Red Bull, Verstappen was twelve tenths of a second behind Bottas at the end.
Meanwhile, Carlos Sainz Jr. finished in third place in the Ferrari to complete the podium, Sainz Jr. was nineteen seconds behind Bottas at the end of the twenty-four lap race.
