Review of Round Ten of the 2019 World Rallycross Championship season was the World RX of South Africa, at Killarney Motor Racing Complex on the outskirts of Cape Town.
In the four Heats, those were won by Niclas Grönholm (winning twice) and Timmy Hansen (winning twice).
In the first semi-final that was won by Monster Energy RX Cartel driver Andreas Bakkerud in his Audi S1. Second was GRX Taneco Team driver Niclas Grönholm in his Hyundai i20, he was two tens of a second behind Bakkerud in the end. While, third was GRX Taneco Team driver Timur Timerzyanov in his Hyundai i20, he was a second behind Bakkerud in the end.
In the second semi-final that was won by Team Hansen MJP driver Timmy Hansen in his Peugeot 208. Second was Team Hansen MJP driver Kevin Hansen in his Peugeot 208, he was a second behind Hansen in the end. While, third was All-Inkl.com Münnich Motorsport driver Timo Scheider in his SEAT Ibiza, he was five seconds behind Hansen in the end.
In the final race, GRX Taneco Team driver Niclas Grönholm took the race win in his Hyundai i20. Second Monster Energy RX Cartel driver was Andreas Bakkerud in his Audi S1, he was two seconds behind Grönholm in the end. While, third was GRX Taneco Team driver Timur Timerzyanov in his Hyundai i20, he was three seconds behind Grönholm in the end.
Finally, Team Hansen MJP driver Timmy Hansen finished fourth place in his Peugeot 208, he was six seconds behind Grönholm in the end. That was enough for Timmy Hansen to be 2019 World Rallycross Drivers' Champion for his first title win. Timmy Hansen won the title equal on points with Andreas Bakkerud, Hansen won it in wins count backs (Hansen four wins to Bakkerud one win).
And so this years champions in World Rallycross Championship, World Rallycross Championship Drivers' Champion: Timmy Hansen. World Rallycross Championship Teams' Championship: Team Hansen MJP.
