2019 WRC Round 3 recap - Rally Mexico

Recap of the last round of WRC from last weekends Round three of Rally Mexico.

Last weekends was the third round of the World Rally Championship at at the Rally Mexico (7th-10th March) that was won by Current WRC champion Sébastien Ogier in his works Citroën C3 WRC.



While, Ott Tänak finished second in the works Toyota Yaris WRC. Tänak was thirty seconds behind Ogier at the end of the rally. Meanwhile, Elfyn Evans finished third in his works works Ford Fiesta WRC, Evans was fifty seconds behind Ogier at the end of the rally.

Meanwhile in WRC-2 Pro class (Manufacturer entries competing in cars built to Group R5 specifications), that was won by M-Sport Ford WRT driver Łukasz Pieniążek in his Ford Fiesta R5. Łukasz Pieniążek finished in twelfth place overall, he was forty-five minutes behind Ogier at the end of the rally.

While in WRC-2 class (Open to privately-entered cars; Group R5, R4, Super 2000 and Group N4 spec cars), that was won by Benito Guerra Jr. in his own backed Škoda Fabia R5. Benito Guerra Jr. finished in sixth place overall, he was fifteen minutes behind Ogier at the end of the rally.
