Round Eight Recap of the 2018 WeatherTech SportsCar Championship

Review of Round Eight of the 2018 WeatherTech SportsCar Championship at Lime Rock Park, on the outskirts of Salisbury, Connecticut.

Ford Chip Ganassi Racing team won the race overall and GT Le Mans Class too in their Ford GT, with the team of Joey Hand and Dirk Müller. While Corvette Racing team finished second place in their Chevrolet Corvette C7.R, with the team of Antonio García and Jan Magnussen; they were eleven seconds behind the leaders. Meanwhile, Porsche GT Team finished third place in their Porsche 911 RSR, with the team of Earl Bamber and Laurens Vanthoor; they were fourteen seconds behind the leaders.

In GT Daytona Class, Paul Miller Racing team won GT Daytona Class and finished in eighth place overall in their Lamborghini Huracán GT3; with the drivers of Bryan Sellers and Madison Snow; they were six laps behind the leaders.

While Prototype Class and Prototype Challenge Class did not participate for this race.
