Rubens Barrichello 300 not out, Belgium Grand Prix preview (well sort of)

Rubens Barrichello will be doing his 300 Grand Prix at this weekend Belgium grand prix. Scene his first race at the South Africa Grand prix in 1993. Driving for a Jordan Grand Prix. Using a Hart 3.5 V10 engine, his team mate was Ivan Capelli, who had a terrible previous season with Ferrari. Nowadays Rubens is driving for Williams, with a Cozza (Cosworth in a Jermey Clarkson saying it) 2.4 V8 engine, his team mate now Nico Hulkenberg, last years GP2 champion. Rubens is like a fine bottle of wine, gets better in age. When you look what his achieving at Williams, his experience counts a lot ask Patrick Head and Frank Williams about there opinion about Rubens this season, Rubens finishing 4th at this seasons European Grand Prix at Valencia (don't forget being the fastest Formula 1 driver in a Reasonably Priced Car even better than The Stig).

His best race so far in his career, possibly German Grand Prix at Hockinheim (the old 4.24 mile forest circuit) in 2000, when Rubens started 18th from a terrible qualifying, one of his worst days ever. But for race day different story, a two stopper, an ex Mercedes employer invading the track, Michael Schumacher crashing out at the start and then the rain for the last ten laps, with both McLaren's stopping for rain tyres Rubens didn't, but the forest was dry and the stadium section wasn't, Rubens first win came. A little bit of crying on the podium of joy for Rubens. Best race of that season.

Belgium Grand Prix preview (well sort of I'm typing this on Friday) so far Fernando Alonso is fastest in Fridays wet practice at Spa. My opinion for the Race, possably a Red Bull one-two (Vettel leading Webber) and Alonso third. Lets see what happens, many more Grand Prixs
for Rubens. That is all, Bye.
