Since 1979, Renault have won 169 Grnad Prix in F1 and counting as an Engine Manufacture and Constructor. And the first person who won for Renault was French driver Jean-Pierre Jabouille in his Renault RS10 at the 1979 French Grand Prix. But sadly, Jean-Pierre Jabouille has passed away at the age of 80 on Thursday morning (2/2/23). Condolences goes out to the family and friends of Jean-Pierre Jabouille.

He took his second and last Grand Prix win in 1980 at the Austrian Grand Prix.
Jabouille switched to Ligier in 1981 for five Grand Prixs, he retired from F1. But, he stayed with Ligier afterwards and became team manager in 1982 for two seasons.
Jabouille returned to F1 as Peugeot's director of Peugeot Sport, but unsuccessful seasons for Peugeot as engine suppliers in Formula One with McLaren and Jordan saw him sacked in 1995.
