Recap of the last round of WRC from this weekends Round 2 of Rally Sweden.
This weekends was the second round of the World Rally Championship at the Rally Sweden (9th-12th February) that was won by Ott Tänak in his works Ford Puma Rally1.
While, Craig Breen finished second in his works Hyundai i20 N Rally1. Breen was nineteen seconds behind Tänak at the end of the rally. Meanwhile, Thierry Neuville finished third in the works Hyundai i20 N Rally1, Neuville was twenty seconds behind Tänak at the end of the rally.
Meanwhile in WRC-2 class (Manufacturer entries competing in cars built to Rally2 specifications), that was won by Oliver Solberg in his own backed Škoda Fabia Rally2 evo. Oliver Solberg finished in eighth place overall, he was over eight minutes behind Tänak at the end of the rally.
While in WRC-3 class (Open to privately-entered cars; Rally3 spec cars), that was won by Roope Korhonen in his own backed Ford Fiesta Rally3. Roope Korhonen finished in twenty-second place overall, he was ninteen minutes behind Tänak at the end of the rally.
Meanwhile in Junior-WRC class (Competing in identical 1.5 litre Ford Fiesta Rally3) that was won by William Creighton. William Creighton finished in twenty-third place overall, he was twenty minutes behind Tänak at the end of the rally.
Next stop, Round Three of the 2023 WRC season for Rally México in five weeks time.
