2022 Japanese Grand Prix Review, Max Verstappen 2022 Formula 1 World Champion for a second time!

Review of the eighteenth round of the 2022 F1 season at Suzuka, Suzuka City for the Japanese Grand Prix.

It was a dominating race weekend from Current Formula 1 World Champion Max Verstappen. Verstappen was on pole for Sunday's race. However, the race was heavily affected by torrential rain, resulting in only 40 minutes worth of racing resulting a twenty-eight lap race. At a wet Japanese Grand Prix. Verstappen took the advantage at the start and comfortably lead the race throughout to win this seasons Japanese Grand Prix for Max Verstappen's twelfth race win of the season.

While, Charles Leclerc finished in second place in the Ferrari. However, he received a five-second time penalty for leaving the track and gaining an advantage, relegating him to third place. With a loophole in the rules reulting in full-points instead of half-points, that was enough for Max Verstappen to win his second F1 World Drivers Championship title and one hundred and thirteen points ahead of team-mate Sergio Pérez who is second in the standings with four races to go. He also become eleventh driver Formula 1 history to win back to back titles and the seventeenth driver in Formula 1 history to win two or more drivers' titles. So contractions to Max Verstappen for winning his second World Drivers' title.

Meanwhile, Sergio Pérez finished in second place in the Red Bull to give the team its fifth one-two finish of the season, Pérez was twenty-seven seconds behind Verstappen at the end.

Meanwhile, Charles Leclerc finished in third place in the Ferrari to complete the podium, Leclerc was thirty-two seconds behind Verstappen at the end of the twenty-eight lap race.

Now with four races to go, Red Bull still leads F1 Constructors' Standings, the gap is now improved from one hundred and thirty-six to one hundred and sixty-one points for Ferrari who are second in the Constructors' Standings with four races to go.

Red Bull could win their fifth Constructors' Championship at Austin. Red Bull needs to score only eighteen points to win the title at the United States Grand Prix.
