This years Indianapolis 500 is the 106th running of the race. The winner was former Sauber driver Marcus Ericsson.
The Chip Ganassi Racing driver took the lead for the final time with eighteen laps to go overtaking Felix Rosenqvist, to win his first Indy 500 race.
Meanwhile second was Arrow McLaren SP driver Patricio O'Ward, he was he was seventeen tenths of a second behind Ericsson in the end. Third place was Team Penske driver Simon Pagenaud, he was he was three seconds behind Ericsson in the end. Fourth place was Arrow McLaren SP driver Felix Rosenqvist, he was four seconds behind Ericsson in the end.
