2020 Bahrain Grand Prix Review

Review of the fifteenth round of the 2020 F1 season at Bahrain International Circuit on their Grand Prix Circuit, Sakhir for the Bahrain Grand Prix.

Overall the race itself was a great race to watch. Current Formula 1 World Champion Lewis Hamilton was on pole for Sunday's race, Hamilton took the lead at the start ahead of Max Verstappen. The race was focus on Romain Grosjean, Grosean clipped Daniil Kvyat on the straight after turn 3, causing Grosjean's car to ricochet into the track-side crash barrier, the impact caused Grosjean’s car to split in half and burst into flames.

Thankfully, Romain Grosjean was able to escape the wreckage unaided in 30 seconds, and was greeted immediately by the medical crew and race marshals, initially reported that Grosjean seemed to have suffered minor burns on his hands and ankles resulting he will miss the last two rounds' of the season. Whatever is your opinion about the halo on the Formula 1 car, halo has done its job for saving Grosjean life.



90 Minutes later for the restart of the race, Hamilton took the lead at the start once agian ahead of Verstappen, on the first lap again another scary crash from collusion between Daniil Kvyat and Lance Stroll, resulted Lance Stroll going upside down at the start of the race. Thankfully he escape unharmed.



Despite all that Hamilton took the advantage, comfortably lead the race throughout, it was Lewis Hamilton day to win this seasons Bahrain Grand Prix for Lewis Hamilton's eleventh race win of the season.



While, Max Verstappen finished in second place in the Red Bull, Verstappen was twelve tenths of a second behind Hamilton at the end.



Meanwhile, Alexander Albon finished in third place in the other Red Bull to complete the podium, Albon was eight seconds behind Hamilton at the end of the fifty-seven lap race.
