2020 Eifel Grand Prix Review

Review of the eleventh round of the 2020 F1 season held at the Nürburgring, Nürburg, in North-West Germany, for the German, European, Luxenbourg, Eifel Grand Prix.

Overall the race itself was a good race to watch. Valtteri Bottas on pole for Sunday's race, took the lead at the start of the race ahead of team-mate Current Formula 1 World Champion Lewis Hamilton, until lap 13 when Hamilton overtake Bottas after a Bottas braking error. Which that Hamilton never looked back; lead all rest of the laps, to win this seasons Eifel Grand Prix for Lewis Hamilton's seventh Grand Prix win of the season.

That was Lewis Hamilton's ninty-first Grand Prix win equalling to Michael Schumacher's record for most Grand Prix wins.



While, Max Verstappen finished in second place in the Red Bull, Verstappen was four seconds behind Hamilton at the end.

Meanwhile, Daniel Ricciardo finished in third place in the Renault to complete the podium, Ricciardo was fifteen seconds behind Hamilton at the end of the sixty lap race.



Now with six races to go, Lewis Hamilton win at the Nürburgring, and Valtteri Bottas first DNF of the season, Lewis Hamilton's lead of the F1 Drivers' Standings has been improve from forty-four points to seventy-one points ahead of team-mate Valtteri Bottas in the standings with six races to go.

While Mercedes still leads F1 Constructors' Standings, the gap is now improved from one hundred and seventy-four points to one hundred and eighty-four points for Red Bull who are second in the Constructors' Standings with six races to go.
