2020 F1 Emilia Romagna Grand Prix Predictions
For the first time in fourteen years, Formula 1 returns to the Autodromo Internazionale Enzo e Dino Ferrari, Imola for the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix (the previous name Dino Ferrari/Italian/San Marino Grand Prix would have worked better), the home Grand Prix for both Ferrari and AlphaTauri teams and home Grand Prix for Antonio Giovinazzi.
So Predictions for the race, for the win, I predict Lewis Hamilton for the race win in the Mercedes, Valtteri Bottas second in the other Mercedes, and third place for Max Verstappen in the Red Bull. Don't forget Alexander Albon, the Renault drivers, the McLaren drivers, Pierre Gasly, the Racing Point drivers, and the Ferrari drivers as-well for a podium place.
Welcome back Imola.

Confirmed: Scuderia AlphaTauri retains Pierre Gasly till 2021
It was confirmed earlier today (28/10/20), that Scuderia AlphaTauri will retain Pierre Gasly through to the end of the 2021 Formula 1 season, on a one year deal.
Gasly currently sits ninth place in the Drivers' standings, best finish of a Grand Prix win at Monza back in September.
No word, who will be Gasly's team-mate yet, strongly rumoured it will be Formula 2 driver Yuki Tsunoda who could replace Daniil Kvyat at the team next season.
Overall, a very good decision from AlphaTauri to keep Pierre Gasly for next season. Very surprise he wasn't promoted to the main Red Bull seat alongside Max Verstappen.
Overall, it's AlphaTauri advantage going into 2021.

Romain Grosjean and Kevin Magnussen leaves Haas F1 Team at end of season
It was confirmed on Thursday 22/10/20) that both Romain Grosjean and Kevin Magnussen will leave Haas at the end of the 2020 season, bringing an end to his long-term partnership with the team for both drivers.
Grosjean joined the team when in 2016, while Magnussen joined the team the season after.
With both driver’s leaving, its been rumoured that both Mick Schumacher and Nikita Mazepin will join the team in 2021.
Overall, the news is not the biggest surprise happen, two reasons they are both leaving due to Covid with the effects on the financial side with income coming in and Haas's former title sponsor Rich Engery not paying up last year, resulting the team needed funding in and lower salaries. Rumour has it Mazepin will bring in money from his father's chemical company, while Schumacher (who is currently leading F2 Championship) who is a Ferrari Academy Driver will more than likely helping the team getting discounts from Ferrari for using their Power Units in 2021.
So what's next for Grosjean and Magnussen? Grosjean could be going to WEC with Peugeot return to the series. While, Magnussen could be off to IndyCar next season meaning the end of both drivers in F1.
Whatever the outcome for 2021, interesting times ahead for the Haas team.

Lance Stroll withdraws from Eifel Grand Prix, Nico Hülkenberg replaces Stroll
It was confirmed a few hours before qualifying for the Eifel Grand Prix (10/10/20) from Racing Point that Lance Stroll will sit out the Eifel Grand Prix due to illness, Nico Hülkenberg replacing him for this weekend.
Stroll has been struggling for fitness since the Russian Grand Prix from two weeks ago, according to his team boss Otmar Szafnauer. Szafnauer also stated that Stroll has not been suffering from Covid-19 as his been tested negative multiple times in the last two weeks, but is unsure of the exact illness.
Nico Hülkenberg, who last raced in Formula 1 with Racing Point early in the season at Siverstone replacing Segrio Perez, will step in to replace Stroll, making his Grand Prix return once again alongside Segrio Perez for this weekends Eifel Grand Prix. Hülkenberg, qualified in twentieth place, five tenths off getting into Q2.
In my opinion, it was the right call from Racing Point if his not 100% well and a surprising one too going into qualifying. All I can say get well soon Lance and lets have a 100% Lance back to race in Formula 1 next time out.

2020 F1 Eifel Grand Prix Predictions
For the first time in seven years, Formula 1 returns to the Nurburgring in Nürburg for the Eifel Grand Prix (the previous name German/European/Luxenburg Grand Prix would have worked better), the home Grand Prix for Mercedes Benz and home Grand Prix for Sebastian Vettel.
So Predictions for the race, for the win, I predict Lewis Hamilton for the race win in the Mercedes, Valtteri Bottas second in the other Mercedes, and third place for Max Verstappen in the Red Bull. Don't forget Alexander Albon, the Renault drivers, the McLaren drivers', Pierre Gasly, the Racing Point drivers, and the Ferrari drivers as-well for a podium place.

Honda to leave Forrmula 1 at end of 2021 season
It was confirmed yesterday (2/10/20), Honda is to leave Formula 1 at the end of 2021, which means Red Bull and Alpha Tauri needing to find an engine supplier for 2022 with just three engine companies.
Honda said the move was a result of the transformation of the car industry away from internal combustion engines.
Honda returned to F1 in 2015 and spent a difficult three seasons with McLaren with limited results.
Honda switch to Toro Rosso for 2018 and then Red Bull itself for 2019, and have won a total of five Grand Prix wins over the last two years.
In my opinion, a surprise in one way, not a surprise in other way. A surprise in the reason on environment targets and the end of the internal combustion engine rather than focus on blaming the current pandemic that could follow a possible global recession. And not a surprise as this is Honda fifth time they have cancelled a Formula 1 project in the last 55 years.
So what next for Red Bull and Alpha Tauri. My guess a return for one or both teams return to Renault in 2022, if it was up-to Renault they would possibly take Alpha Tauri instead of Red Bull. Another option could be Red Bull buying Honda Power-Units outright and re-brand them as Red Bull engines and continue to develop them or even go to someone like Cosworth ask them for a V6 engine to develop while Red Bull Technologies develop the hybrid side for a Red Bull-Cosworth Power-Unit perhaps.
Bye Bye Honda once again.
