Frederic Vasseur leaves Renault Sport F1 Team

It was confirmed on Wednesday (11/1/17), Frederic Vasseur has left his position as Team Principal at Renault.

After just one season in the role following Renault's return as a team, the former Team Principal and Renault have agreed to part company by mutual consent.

No word who will replace Vasseur at Renault. However, Cryil Abiteboul remains Renault Sport's managing director with Jerome Stoll as president.

Some big question marks ahead for Renault this season, are they going to be competitive enough to fight in the top half of the constructors standings this season? are we going to see improvements form the Power Units and the race cars under the Renault name this season? Who knows. All we know its interesting times ahead for Renault.
