2016 6 Hours of Circuit of the Americas Review

Review of Round six of the 2016 FIA World Endurance Championship at 6 Hours of Circuit of the Americas in Austin, United States.

The Porsche Team won the race overall and the LMP1 class too of Timo Bernhard, Mark Webber and Brendon Hartley in their Porsche 919 Hybrid. While, second was the Audi Sport Team Joest team of Oliver Jarvis, Lucas di Grassi and Loïc Duval in their Audi R18 e-tron quattro, they were twenty-three seconds behind the leaders at the end of the race. Meanwhile, third place was the Toyota Gazoo Racing of Mike Conway, Stéphane Sarrazin and Kamui Kobayashi in their Toyota TS050 Hybrid, they were twenty-six seconds behind the leaders at the end of the race.

In LMP2 class, the Signatech Alpine team of Gustavo Menezes, Nicolas Lapierre and Stéphane Richelmi in their Alpine A460 with a Nissan VK45DE 4.5 L V8 engine won in LMP2 class. They finish in eighth place overall and they were fourteen laps behind the leaders at the end of the race.

While in GTE Pro class, was won by Aston Martin Racing team of Nicki Thiim and Marco Sørensen won in their Aston Martin Vantage GTE. They finish in sixteenth place overall and they were twenty-thtree laps behind the leaders at the end of the race.

While in GTE Am class, was won by Aston Martin Racing team of Paul Dalla Lana, Pedro Lamy and Mathias Lauda in their Aston Martin V8 Vantage GTE. They finish in twenty-third place overall and they were twenty-eight laps behind the leaders at the end of the race.
