Review of Round Ten of the 2016 WeatherTech SportsCar Championship at Virginia International Raceway on the outskirts of Danville, Virginia.
Corvette Racing team won the race overall and GT Le Mans Class too of Antonio García and Jan Magnussen in their Chevrolet Corvette C7.R. While, Ford Chip Ganassi Racing team finished second place in their Ford GT, with the drivers of Joey Hand and Dirk Müller; they were eight tenths of a second behind the leaders. Meanwhile, Porsche North America team finished in third place in their Porsche 911 RSR, with the drivers of Earl Bamber and Frédéric Makowiecki; they were fourteen tenths of a second behind the leaders.
In GT Daytona Class, Paul Miller Racing team won GT Daytona Class and finished in ninth place overall in their Lamborghini Huracan GT3; with the drivers of Bryan Sellers and Madison Snow; they were two laps behind the leaders.
While both Prototype Class and Prototype Challenge Class did not participate for this race.
