Review of Round Five of the 2015 British Touring Car Championship season was at Croft, in North Yorkshire.
In the first race, IHG Rewards Club driver Andy Priaulx took the race win in his BMW 125i M Sport. Second was Team JCT600 with GardX driver Sam Tordoff in his BMW 125i M Sport, he was seven tenths of a second behind Priaulx in the end. While third place was Team JCT600 with GardX driver Rob Collard in his BMW 125i M Sport to complete a WSR/BMW podium whitewash, he was five seconds behind Priaulx in the end.
Meanwhile, Independents class was won by Team BMR driver and current BTCC Champion Colin Turkington in his Volkswagen CC, he finished in seventh place and was twenty-three seconds behind Priaulx in the end.
While, Jack Sears Trophy (for top 'Rookie Driver' in the series) was won by #RacingforHeroes driver Josh Cook in his Chevrolet Cruze 4dr, he finished in eleventh place and was thirty-four seconds behind Priaulx in the end.
Meanwhile in the second race, Team JCT600 with GardX driver Sam Tordoff took the race win in his BMW 125i M Sport. Second was Team BMR driver Jason Plato in his Volkswagen CC and also took Independents class win too, he was two seconds behind Tordoff in the end. While third place was Team BMR driver and current BTCC Champion Colin Turkington in his Volkswagen CC, he was three seconds behind Tordoff in the end.
While, Jack Sears Trophy was won by Dextra Racing driver Alex Martin in his Ford Focus ST, he finished in seventeenth place and was thirty-eight seconds behind Tordoff in the end.
Finally in the third race, Team JCT600 with GardX driver Rob Collard took the race win in his BMW 125i M Sport. Second was IHG Rewards Club driver Andy Priaulx in his BMW 125i M Sport to complete a WSR/BMW one-two finish, he was seven seconds behind Collard in the end. While third place was Honda Yuasa Racing driver Gordon Shedden in his Honda Civic Type R, he was eight seconds behind Collard in the end.
Meanwhile, Independents class was won by Team BMR driver and current BTCC Champion Colin Turkington in his Volkswagen CC, he finished in fourth place and was ten seconds behind Collard in the end.
While, Jack Sears Trophy was won by #RacingforHeroes driver Josh Cook in his Chevrolet Cruze 4dr, he finished in fifteenth place and was thirty-nine seconds behind Collard in the end.
Next stop Snetterton for Round Six of the 2014 British Touring Car Championship season in six weeks time.
