Review of Round Two of the 2015 British Touring Car Championship season was at Donington Park's National Circuit, in Leicestershire.
In the first race, Team BMR driver Jason Plato in his Volkswagen CC and also took Independents class win too. Second was Honda Yuasa Racing driver Gordon Shedden in his Honda Civic Type R, he was fourteen tenths second behind Plato in the end. While third place was Team BMR driver and current BTCC Champion Colin Turkington in his Volkswagen CC, he was a seventeen tenths second behind Plato in the end.
While, Jack Sears Trophy (for top 'Rookie Driver' in the series) was won by #RacingforHeroes driver Josh Cook in his Chevrolet Cruze 4dr, he finished in thirteenth place and was under twenty seconds behind Plato in the end.
Meanwhile in the second race, Team BMR driver and current BTCC Champion Colin Turkington took the race win in his Volkswagen CC and also took Independents class win too. Second was Honda Yuasa Racing driver Matt Neal in his Honda Civic Type R, he was two and a half seconds behind Turkington in the end. While third place was WIX Racing driver Adam Morgan in his Mercedes-Benz A-Class, he was under nine seconds behind Turkington in the end.
While, Jack Sears Trophy was won by #RacingforHeroes driver Josh Cook in his Chevrolet Cruze 4dr, he finished in seventh place and was eleven seconds behind Turkington in the end.
Finally in the third race, Honda Yuasa Racing driver Matt Neal took the race win in his Honda Civic Type R. Second was MG 888 Racing driver Andrew Jordan in his MG6 GT, he was two tenths of a second behind Neal in the end. While third place was Honda Yuasa Racing driver Gordon Shedden in his Honda Civic Type R, he was a second behind Neal in the end.
Meanwhile, Independents class was won by Laser Tools Racing driver Aiden Moffat in his Mercedes-Benz A-Class, he finished in fifth place and was three and a half seconds behind Neal in the end.
While, Jack Sears Trophy was won by #RacingforHeroes driver Josh Cook in his Chevrolet Cruze 4dr, he finished in seventh place and was four seconds behind Neal in the end.
Next stop Thruxton for Round Three of the 2014 British Touring Car Championship season in three weeks time.
