2014 WRC Round 4 recap - Rally Argentina - Meeke and Citroën wins!

Recap of the last round of WRC from this weekends Round four of Rally Argentina.

This weekends was the fourth round of the World Rally Championship at the Rally Argentina (24-26th April) was won by this season that is not a Volkswagen car or Sébastien Ogier either. It was won by Kris Meeke in this works Citroën DS3 WRC, becoming the first British Rally driver to win a WRC rally since the late Colin McRae back at the Safari Rally in 2002 and Citroën's first since Germany 2013.



While, Mads Østberg finished second in this works Citroën DS3 WRC, to complete a Citroën one-two finish, the first since Finland 2012. Østberg was 18 seconds behind Meeke at the end. Meanwhile, Elfyn Evans, finished in third place in the M-Sport World Rally Team, Ford Fiesta RS WRC for his first WRC podium, Evans was 3 and a half minutes behind Meeke at the end.



Meanwhile in WRC-2 class (Group R5, R4, Super 2000 and Group N4 spec cars), that was won by Abdulaziz Al-Kuwari in Youth and Sports Qatar Rally Team, Ford Fiesta RRC. Abdulaziz Al-Kuwari finished in seventh place overall, he was 16 minutes behind Meeke at the end of the rally.
