Review of Round Two of the 2014 British Touring Car Championship season was at Donington Park's National Circuit, in Leicestershire.
In the first race, MG KX Clubcard Fuel Save driver Jason Plato took the race win in his MG6 GT. Second was MG KX Clubcard Fuel Save driver Sam Tordoff in his MG6 GT to take a MG one-two finish, he was four tenths of a second behind Plato in the end. While third place was Pirtek Racing driver and 2013 BTCC Champion Andrew Jordan in his Honda Civic and also took Independents class too, he was six seconds behind Plato in the end.
Meanwhile in the second race, MG KX Clubcard Fuel Save driver Sam Tordoff took the race win in his MG6 GT. Second was MG KX Clubcard Fuel Save driver Jason Plato in his MG6 GT to take another MG one-two finish, he was a second behind Tordoff in the end. While third place was Honda Yuasa Racing driver Gordon Shedden in his Honda Civic Tourer, he was two and a half seconds behind Tordoff in the end.
Meanwhile, Independents class was won by Pirtek Racing driver and 2013 BTCC Champion Andrew Jordan in his Honda Civic, he finished in forth place and was three and a half seconds behind Tordoff in the end.
While in the third race, Honda Yuasa Racing driver Gordon Shedden took the race win in his Honda Civic Tourer and a first for an estate car in BTCC history as-well. Second was eBay Motors driver Colin Turkington in his BMW 125i M Sport and also took Independents class too, he was half a second behind Shedden in the end. While third place was Honda Yuasa Racing driver Matt Neal in his Honda Civic Tourer, he was four seconds behind Shedden in the end.
