Miami to hold Formula 1 race from 2022 and onwards

It has been confirmed before the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix (19/4/21) that the city of Miami, USA, will stage the Miami Grand Prix from 2022 onwards.

It is understood the deal is for till the end of 2031, also it will be a street race next to the Hard Rock Stadium (Home of NFL team Miami Dolphins).

It will be the second Formula 1 event in the USA in a season, following on from the United States Grand Prix in Austin, which joined the calendar in 2012.
