Originally the race was set for May 24th. This is the first time the Indy 500 will take place outside of the month of May; the race has only seen previous disruptions due to both World Wars.
While the MotoGP round at Jerez is postponed as-well without a new date.
Coronavirus, officially named Covid-19, that has killed over 27,000 people, with closed to 600,000 cases reported.
