On Monday morning (7/1/19) it was announce that Scuderia Ferrari Team Principal Maurizio Arrivabene has been replaced as Ferrari team principal by former technical boss Mattia Binotto.
After replacing former Team Principal Marco Mattiacci back in 2015. Arrivabene had held the role for four years and a Ferrari statement said the decision was made by "the company's top management after lengthy discussions."
Binotto takes immediate charge and Ferrari said "all technical areas will continue to report directly" to him.
Maybe the best option for Ferrari to replace the underperforming Maurizio Arrivabene just before the start of the season. As for new Team Principal Mattia Binotto has got the toughest job of any Team Principal in Formula 1 and that is managing Ferrari expectations and that is winning.
