It was confirmed yesterday (1/9/15) that Force India will retain Nico Hülkenberg for the next two seasons.
Hulkenberg had recently been linked with newcomer Haas F1 team, and was understood to be top of its list ahead of the team's entry into F1 in 2016. But the Le Mans 24 Hours winner, in his second spell with Force India, has opted to remain with the outfit through to the end of 2017.
According to Force India, Le Mans 24 Hours winner Hulkenberg staying on provides the team with "valuable stability in the years ahead."
Overall, a very good decision from Force India to keep Nico Hülkenberg for the next two seasons. I am guess that he might have a cause in his contract that a big team might take his services to their team in 2017. I originally thought in a previous post that Hülkenberg would take the gamble and join Hass for 2016. Thankfully I am wrong, and Hülkenberg will stay at Force India for two more seasons at least.
As for Hülkenberg's team-mate for next season, no word yet is more than likely that Sergio Pérez will be retain at Force India for next season.
End of post for now, new post soon, bye.
